The concept of “teeth in a day” — also known as same day teeth or immediate load — refers to protocols where implants are placed and a fixed provisional prosthesis is attached during a single surgical session. This isn't a recent marketing trend: clinical literature published in journals such as the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery shows success rates comparable to conventional protocols, provided patient selection criteria are met.
What “one day” means concretely: On the morning of surgery, teeth to be extracted are removed, implants are placed in the digitally planned positions, and the provisional prosthesis — fabricated in advance by the lab based on the digital plan — is screwed onto the implants. Surgery typically takes 2 to 4 hours depending on complexity. The patient leaves at the end of the day with a fixed, functional dental arch. This is not the definitive prosthesis, however: it is fabricated in zirconia or reinforced resin 3 to 6 months later, once complete osseointegration is confirmed.
Candidacy criteria: Not all patients are candidates for immediate loading. Key factors are implant primary stability (measured intraoperatively by insertion torque), bone quality and volume, absence of active infection at the implant site, and general health status. A 3D CBCT evaluation prior to surgery is essential to precisely plan implant positions and anticipate potential anatomical challenges. IV sedation is available for the entire surgical day.
Procedures we offer

Immediate Loading — Fixed Provisional Prosthesis the Same Day
Fixed provisional attached same day. Definitive prosthesis after osseointegration (3 to 6 months).
Multiple Extractions + All-on-4 or All-on-6 in One Day
Entire surgical phase completed in one day for full rehabilitation patients.
Combined Surgical Day (Multiple Procedures)
Gum grafting, exposures, extractions, and grafting combined in one visit.
